Setting Sail
As the VTVLC Marine Biology class of 2021, we are getting ready for our expedition to Key Largo Florida. To get ready we have done lots of research on the types of fish and other life we may see while snorkeling and diving there. We have taken notes on the first 90 fish that are most frequently sighted in Key Largo. We have also completed a fish ID course of the different types of fish we will most likely see.
I’m feeling very excited to snorkel and see the different kinds of life. Some things that I hope to see are a spotted eagle ray, a southern stingray, a nurse shark, some angelfish and I'd really like to see a queen triggerfish, they’re just beautiful!
